At the end of the fourth and final race of day 1, Mark Williams out-sprints team mate Alistair Brizell to take the flag.
This made it 3-1 to GCR 1 on the day, giving them the overall win with GCR 2 second. These positions were reversed in the five-hour race on day 2.
